Medium is one of my go-to platforms for marketing my content and provides another authority-site domain that gives you the versatility of link-dropping the way that you normally would through any blog post on a CMS like WordPress. Leverage Medium to create intuitive content marketing posts that also link back to your primary posts on your site or blog.
For that last part, stick with four sentence paragraphs and three paragraph articles. This helps make visitors feel more at home and enjoy reading on their computer. More to the point, it’s also a way to put a location on where you are as far as reading priority goes. The better your content, the better your location, which all those hrs spent worth it.

We purchased advertisement inclusion in two well-known opt-in / subscription newsletters. Both inserts were in the price range of $750 – $1000. If you’re still just learning how to increase website traffic, Twitter is a great platform for experimenting. You won’t need to worry about limited reach. With the help of relevant hashtags, you could reach an audience bigger than your follower count. When it comes to content marketing, a little trick I do to get traffic from Twitter is to share a click to retweet link with people featured in the article. This allows your original tweet to get more visibility, especially if a hashtag is used in it, because it can help you rank higher on the feed for the hashtag used. As a result, more eyes end up on the tweet and you’ll get a higher click through to your website.
If you have the resources to hire a marketing company which will run a huge campaign for your website - go for it, but even then you can still profit from buying highly targeted website traffic.
