The number of pages the visitors view. This is important. There was a large difference in the quality of the traffic. For the first mailing, the average visitor viewed 7.5 pages, and hence was likely to create a trial account. The group that received the second mailing averaged 2.5 pageviews each. The lesson is to stress the importance of well-targeted traffic. The question remains; why would one group of visitors look at more pages than another?

For one thing, not everybody is going to go straight from chatting with you to looking at your website. It’s usually not a good idea to send people directly to your site unless they have a clear idea “what’s in for them” and don’t have to spend much time looking around. Thanks Jure. That actually makes sense. Exactly: I’ve tested lowering the number of tips in a few posts and it’s helped CTR/organic traffic. One thing to keep in mind is that the number can also be: the year, time (like how long it will take to find what someone needs), % (like 25% off) etc. It doesn’t have to be the number of tips, classified ads, etc.
Even though traffic is intrinsically tied to conversation rates, it seems that too many people have a lot of misunderstandings regarding the relationship between these two aspects. For one thing, the size of the traffic you get does not matter If it doesn’t lead to the kind of conversion rate you need. If you really want to earn money from the visitors coming to your site, they need to be of high quality.
In-person promotion: Word of mouth is always an effective marketing tool and can be especially valuable for connecting your site with the offline world. Talking to your friends and people in your network is a great way to start. But you can also volunteer in your community, do speaking engagements, host or sponsor events, and seize other opportunities to connect with your audience face to face. Yes and no. A long time ago, Google stopped showing search term keywords in Google Analytics for its logged in users. You can read about it online. Most of your traffic may be from logged in Google users so it will hide their keywords searched and show up as "not provided". Rest assured, we are sending the traffic that is using your keywords and the service will work the same way regardless.
Once everything is humming, track your sessions and your landing pages. This way you'll know how many actual times people visited your website and what pages they arrived through. Google Search Console will allow you to associate keywords to each of those visits, along with how often they were displayed versus how many times they were clicked through.
