I am new at this. I have been researching keywords and have found a few keyword phrases that nobody in the first page of Google results is even using in their Title Tag or H1 Tag. Some of the companies on the results page have a high pagerank and lots of backlinks. If I optimize for this exact keyword phrase with a new website, would I have much of a chance of getting on the first page eventually?
So one way to get Google to take notice of that about your site is to make that happen by getting people to search something to do with your site in Google or whatever and then click on it. Through continued searching and then visiting your site, this in time will improve the ranking of your site and make Google think that your site is the one that people are most clicking on. That means through continued use of this service, you can outrank your competitors and do better than them without even needing to lift a finger! Just sit back and watch as the visitors start searching and rolling into YOUR site and your rankings start improving!
Brian, I’ve drunk your Kool aid! Thank you for honesty and transparency – it really gives me hope. Quick question: I am beyond passionate about a niche (UFOs, extraterrestrials, free energy) and know in my bones that an authority site is a long term opportunity. The problem today is that not many products are attached to this niche and so it becomes a subscriber / info product play. However, after 25+ years as an entrepreneur with a financial background and marketing MBA, am I Internet naive to believe that my passion and creativity will win profitability in the end? The target audience is highly passionate too. Feedback?
Find relevant Facebook Pages and Groups and start commenting and engaging with others. Don't spam. Don't promote. Not at first at least. But, comment and engage. Add value. Then, and only then, when the opportunity is right, direct them to a relevant piece of content on your site that would help add to the conversation. When done right, not only can you get the right eyeballs, but those prospects can quickly turn into customers.
Website traffic is the lifeblood of every online business. More visitors to your website means more potential customers seeing your products. The more people you get in front of, the more sales you can generate. So driving more traffic to a site is really a no-brainer for most businesses, but what are the best ways to do it in 2018? Here are five of the most effective ways you can boost traffic with minimal effort.
Firstly, a disclaimer – don’t spam Reddit and other similar sites hoping to “hit the jackpot” of referral traffic, because it’s not going to happen. Members of communities like Reddit are extraordinarily savvy to spam disguised as legitimate links, but every now and again, it doesn’t hurt to submit links that these audiences will find genuinely useful. Choose a relevant subreddit, submit your content, then watch the traffic pour in.
You have listed out all the great things. I am doing SEO for an inbound travel agency based in India. Target country is US but business is based in India. I find it difficult to get listed in local business in US. Similar way the google places listing is also on India based address as company is based in India. What is the best way in your opinion in situation like this ?
The hope is that other content creators will find the page useful and refer to it in their content. If your article gets referenced / mentioned / linked, then it’s Page Authority improves and it’s more likely to rank …and get more targeted traffic. Distribution: If you’re getting a lot of traffic on one social media platform, but that isn’t crossing over to your website, you may want to think about strengthening the connection between your website and your social media accounts. When you create and post content in one place, it’s important to spread the word everywhere and cross-promote across platforms to keep your audience from fracturing. Also, be sure to include links to relevant pages on your site in your social media posts — and include links to your social media accounts on your site — so visitors can easily like and follow you on social media, right from your site.
Hi, my name is Dimitrios and I am responsible for Crave Culinaire’s digital marketing. I would like to drive more traffic to Crave’s blog. Since Crave Culinaire is the only catering company who provides molecular cuisine, I thought about craving a blog post about that. The influencers in this niche have great success in utilizing recipes on their blogs. I will share some recipes of Brian Roland, owner and head chef of Crave Culinaire.

It’s usually not a good idea to send people directly to your site unless they have a clear idea “what’s in for them” and don’t have to spend much time looking around. On the other hand, going to your brand’s Facebook Page is a small win you can build on.
